Hi My name is Damien Larson. I have been involved in health and fitness since the age of 8 years old, when I began my life long commitment to Martial Arts. I am always in pursuit of knowledge in health, fitness and alternative healing. I have been lucky enough to train individuals of all ages and from all walks of life. I received my Black Belt Sensei rank in American Freestyle Martial Arts in 2004. I became a Professional Trainer in that same year and have been dedicated full time to the fitness world for the past 10 years. I have worked in small personal training studios as well as large corporate gyms and also privately in the homes of clients. In this time I have experienced the gamit of what a career in the fitness industry has to offer. From one on one to group training, program design and launch, as well as management and sales positions. At the end of the day what I love most is helping people change their lives and watching my them grow.
My goal with CrossFit East Hanover is to create friendships and help people achieve their full potential, within a well balanced environment that is welcoming yet challenging both physically and mentally. Everyone walks into CrossFit with a different goal. Some want to be top notch competitors some want to get in better shape and some may wonder how their crazy friend dragged them into a place like this! The great part of CrossFit is that all are welcome and all are supported and safely encouraged to pursue their full fitness potential. Our mission is to help you complete your mission. Once you enter, you become part of a community bonded by achievement, sweat, hard work and belief! Come join us and we will show you!
“Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open.” ~B.K.S. Iyengar
